Terms of use

Purpose

These terms of use govern access to and use of Hokopi, professional software for managing suppliers, purchasing references, ingredients, recipes, finished products, costs, teams, orders and analytics.

Account and credentials

Certain features require a personal account. Credentials are individual and must be kept confidential. Users must notify Hokopi promptly of any unauthorised use of which they become aware.

Organisations, teams and permissions

Hokopi enables work within organisations, businesses and teams. Available permissions depend in particular on the user’s role, access scope and the plan associated with their organisation. The administrator or owner of an organisation is responsible for the access granted to its members.

Data entered into the service

The customer organisation remains responsible for the data it enters or imports into Hokopi. It confirms it has the necessary rights to use that data. Hokopi stores, backs up, processes and displays it only to the extent necessary to provide the service.

Calculations and business decisions

Hokopi provides business-management tools. Calculations of costs, margins, prices and indicators rely in particular on the information, prices, quantities, units, yields and taxes entered by users. The service is not a substitute for accounting software, an accountant or financial advice. Users remain responsible for verifying data and for their decisions.

Prohibited uses

You must not:

• access another organisation’s data without authorisation;
• bypass permission, security or quota mechanisms;
• introduce malicious content or deliberately disrupt the service;
• perform security testing without prior authorisation;
• use Hokopi for any unlawful activity or in breach of these terms.

Availability and service changes

Hokopi uses reasonable means to ensure the availability and security of the service. Interruptions may occur, including for maintenance, updates, technical incidents, third-party service failure or external events. Certain features, especially during a pilot or beta phase, may change, be modified or be withdrawn.

Suspension and termination of access

Hokopi may limit or suspend access where there is a security risk, abusive use or a serious breach of these terms. Deleting a user account does not necessarily delete the business data of the organisation to which that user belongs.
